The pre-service briefing

A one-page huddle sheet for any date — headline numbers, then the book shift by shift with allergies, VIPs, first visits, assigned tables and AI guest notes. Prints clean.

Updated Aug 21, 2026

The briefing page turns any day's book into the sheet you read at the pre-service huddle. Pick the date, read it top to bottom, or hit Print for a clean paper copy (the app chrome drops out automatically).

Headline numbers

Bookings, covers, VIPs, parties with an allergy on file, and large parties for the chosen day. On today's briefing a Waiting now tile adds the live waitlist count; it disappears when you're briefing a future date, because a live number would only mislead.

The book, one shift at a time

When the venue runs more than one service period, the book is split under Lunch and Dinner headers, each with its own booking and cover counts — so the lunch huddle reads lunch, and the line-up before dinner reads dinner.

What each booking shows

Time and name, then the story at a glance: VIP, First visit (a guest with no completed visit anywhere in your group — greet accordingly), covers, the assigned table, the occasion, and a no-show-risk badge where scoring is enabled. Bookings with an allergy on file get a red border, with each allergen and its severity listed — the kitchen reads this before service, not during it.

Where AI briefings are enabled, the one-paragraph host note ("3rd visit, anniversary last time, prefers the window") appears under the booking. See AI assist.
