Reports and insights

See how your venue is performing — covers and no-shows on the dashboard, service pacing against your targets, and guest feedback.

Updated Jul 23, 2026

TableStack turns every service into numbers you can act on. There are three places to look: the dashboard for the headline figures, reports for the deeper analytics including service pacing, and guest feedback for what diners thought. All of them work for a single venue or across your whole group.

The dashboard

The dashboard is your at-a-glance scorecard, with stat tiles for a period you choose:

  • Covers — guests seated (with visit count).
  • Reservations — bookings, and the share made online.
  • No-show rate and Cancellation rate.
  • Walk-in share — how much of your business arrives without a booking.
  • Average turn time — seated to departed.

You can view a single venue or all venues, and compare against the previous period or the previous year to see whether you're trending up or down.

The reports page and service pacing

The reports page goes deeper, with charts for covers over time, no-show and cancellation rate, first-time vs repeat covers, average covers by weekday, and guest cohorts (how each month's new guests come back).

The service-pacing section is built from your live service and answers three operational questions:

  • Average time in each course — how long parties spend at each stage of the meal, reconstructed from the visit lifecycle. Stages only appear once parties have actually been advanced through service on the floor.
  • Turn time by party size — how long each size of party actually stays, shown against your scheduled turn-time targets. Bars that run past the target mark slower turns, which cost you bookable slots. (Targets show when you're viewing a single venue, since they're a venue's own rules.)
  • Seatings by hour — average covers seated in each hour of the day, in venue-local time, so you can see when the room actually fills — the number to staff and pace around.

Guest feedback

If you ask departed guests for feedback, their responses land here: a star rating and an optional comment. The page shows your 30-day average, the number of responses, and a needs-attention count of low scores (three stars and below), with filters to jump to low ratings or responses with comments. Low-scoring responses are highlighted so you can follow up while it still matters.

What this affects

  • Your decisions — staffing, pacing, and which turn-time targets to adjust.
  • Scheduling — pacing insights feed directly back into your booking rules.

What affects this

  • Your live service — every seating, course advance and departure feeds these numbers.
  • Feedback setting — guest feedback only collects when it's enabled in venue settings.
  • Your turn-time targets — the benchmark the pacing report measures against.
