Getting started
Take online bookings
Take reservations on your own website with a public booking page and an embeddable widget — no diner account required.

TableStack gives every venue a public booking page and a widget you can drop onto your own website, so diners can reserve a table around the clock without calling. This guide gets you taking bookings.
Your public booking page
Every venue has a booking page at a web address built from your organization and venue names — /{your-org}/{your-venue}/book. Diners move through a short, account-free flow:
- Party size — how many are coming.
- Date — the day they want.
- Time — bookable slots come straight from the availability engine, so only genuinely open times appear. If the chosen day is full for that party size, the page suggests the nearest days that can fit them.
- Contact details — name, phone and/or email to hold the booking.
- Confirmed — done, no password to create.
If a date offers a ticketed experience — a wine dinner or prix-fixe — diners can pick it here too.
Share the link
The simplest way to take bookings is to share the page's web address: put it in your Instagram and Google profiles, your email signature, and your "Reserve" button. Anyone with the link can book. You can also print a QR code so guests scan straight to it.
Embed the widget on your site
To keep diners on your own website, use the embeddable widget. On the Embed & booking page settings, you can set an accent colour and corner style to match your brand, preview it live, then copy a short snippet — a <div> plus one <script> tag — and paste it anywhere on your site. The booking flow then runs right inside your page.
Guests manage their own bookings
Every confirmation includes signed links the guest can use to manage, change, or cancel their reservation — no login required. Changing the party size or time re-runs availability to make sure the new request fits; cancelling frees the slot (and can trigger waitlist offers). That keeps your book accurate without your team fielding every change by phone.
What this affects
- Your reservation book — online bookings land there alongside phone and walk-in reservations.
- Availability — the page only ever offers times your rules allow.
- Deposits — large parties or ticketed experiences can be asked to prepay during booking.
What affects this
- Your scheduling settings — service hours, slot interval and pacing decide what diners see.
- Your booking-page logo — set it in venue settings.

Embed options
The embed snippet (Manage → Embed) now builds two widgets — the booking flow and the waitlist join — with per-site options you paste as attributes: data-theme="dark" for dark sites, data-lang="fr" for a French widget, data-party="4" to land with the party size preselected, plus the existing accent colour and corner radius. Confirmation emails include an Add to Google Calendar link alongside the attached calendar invite.
